March 24, 2020 – While we’ve had a busy few weeks at Nabity-Jensen, we are continuing business operations despite current COVID-19 conditions. We are consistently reviewing the status of your accounts and investment positions.Where needed we are rebalancing the ratio of stocks, bonds, and cash. We are also able make improvements in taxable accounts that are now more tax efficient due to the market conditions.
We are all adjusting to the changes in our daily routines, work, and communities due to COVID-19. We as a country will recover from the epidemic in the coming months, as will the financial markets. Following the stabilization of the markets, you may be assessing the outlook of your investments and overall financial position. In addition to and as part of our investment management, we offer numerous supplemental services to our clients to assist you during this time:
- Financial Goal Planning — The most common type of financial goal planning is retirement planning. This includes forecasting retirement cash flows for expenses and income sources, as well as projecting estate values.
- Analysis of Outside Accounts — In addition to accounts managed by Nabity-Jensen, we can provide analysis of additional accounts such as your employer’s 401(k) portfolios and investment options, and accounts held at other brokerages, banks, insurance companies and institutions.
- Household Investment Planning – Household investment planning is a holistic review of account ownership, cashflow, tax management, and risk management. An overview of all household accounts can ensure that all your assets are working together in a way that best suits your needs.
Remote Operations Plan
To date, we have kept operations up and running in our offices as usual. If there comes a time when it is necessary to temporarily close our physical doors for the health of our employees and community, we will continue full services through remote access capabilities. Technology allows us to serve you remotely if needed, while still using our regular office phone numbers, and email is always an option as well. Of course, services such as in-person meetings and traditional mail may be limited during this time.
